Pond
The HOA is responsible for the pond you see from Phillipsburg-Union Road. Please keep in mind, this is a retention pond. This is not a naturally occuring pond. It is a retention pond and catches rainwater overflow and all of the fertilizers and such that come from homeowners’ property. As such, there are some rules that the HOA enforces regarding the pond:
- HOA owners and their residents may fish the pond; however, it is strictly catch and release. The fish in the pond help manage the water balance and may not be removed.
- No swimming or boating is permitted.
- Clean up before leaving the area. We have had issues with people leaving trash and debris around the pond.
- Nobody is permitted to be at the pond (fishing, walking, or otherwise) after dark.
- Stay off the pond when it ices.
- Homeowners are responsible for the actions and behavior of their children, guests, etc. when using the pond.
